Freelance motion designer and animator in Amsterdam

I'm an Amsterdam-based freelance motion designer with over fifteen years of experience. Clients include KNVB, NOC*NSF, Philips and the Van Gogh Museum. Across campaigns, brand identities and films, I create work that moves, and ideally has something to say. Because I work independently, I stay close to a project from first concept to final delivery. Design is always the starting point; motion builds from there.

Working directly with me means you're talking to the same person who actually makes the thing. No account manager translating briefs back and forth, no internal review rounds stacked between you and the work. That cuts handoffs, cuts time, and cuts out the particular kind of noise where everyone nods in the meeting and nobody is describing the same project.

Projects and deliverables

The work varies by project. Sometimes it's a single clip, sometimes a full animation package that carries a brand through an entire season. Most commissions fall into a few categories:

• campaign videos and brand videos, usually delivered in both vertical and landscape cuts
• short-form social edits and designs for TikTok, Reels and YouTube Shorts
• broadcast idents, bumpers and overlays for online and on-air use
• animated brand elements: logos that breathe, icons that respond
• explainer animation and product video across a range of industries
